When my next door neighbors house was broken into, I for one was a bit shooken up, not to mention the entire block i live on. Not on my block! Who would have thought. The police found out that the thieves broke into the house so easy using one of those extra keys in those so called "hidden" fake rocks. So much for it being hidden. So when looking for something safer, I first saw your fingerprint door lock advertised and thought that was something that existed only on TV and movies, you know, a James Bond Sci-fi type thing. Being that it was under $200, I thought, WOW!... this had to be a gimmick. Can something so inexpensive actually work. I’m a sucker for gadgets and when I ordered it I immediately discovered how wrong I was!
As soon as I opened the box, It was pretty much ready to go. I live in New York, so we have those metal fire-doors, and I thought this was going to be a problem, since the instructions just indicated wood doors. Not so. It was super easy to install.
I consider myself a pretty handy woman so with a $6 drill bit from my local hardware store, my husband and I were all good to go. With less than an hour of tinkering, we were both sticking my thumbs on my new lock and opening our door! I couldn't believe how easy it actually was. Now, all my next door neighbors can't stop talking about how cool it is...
Oh, and the couple who's house got broken into, they just ordered 2.
